Why I outgrew Libertarianism
Here's a confession, even if it is not one I'm much ashamed of: I used to be a Libertarian. I know there's a lot of definitions for that word, so for the sake of discussion, I am referring to the political position strictly opposing wealth-redistribution like tax-payer-supported healthcare, unemployment benefits, and welfare. Smaller government, I believed, would make a healthier society because it would involve less interference with the earnings of the individual.
